A Japanese-American engineer lived and worked here in Flint in the early days of the auto industry. His name was W. Nakamura. According to some of the paperwork that was discovered, he worked for Dort Motor Car Co, the Flint Motor Co, Continental Motors and some other sidework. The bulk of this is from 1910 to around 1941.

For many years MoToR Magazine would publish a huge oversize annual show issue that has become collectable to old car buffs AND petroliana & autobiliana collectors.
One of these 300-page magazines is PACKED with ads for cars, trucks and gas station equipment. Also, it shows all the new options and features fresh for the model year, plus all the repair specs on several year of domestic cars & trucks.
If you want coverage for, say, the 1938 models buy a 1937 issue. For 1941 models, get the 1940 issue and so on. Condition is only fair to very good on this.
