This "book" was de-accessioned by the Olds Museum in Lansing, MI and is not bound, but is perfectly "copied" on Kodak photo paper. My theory is that someone wanted a perfect copy and even xerox copies (if they yet existed) did such poor quality that they decided to photograph each page to keep it sharp and clear. Also, the original they had, had an autograph by Olds. Anyway, this book was written as a historical tribute to Ransom E. Odls, and it touches on the stages of his life and the book ends with the 1940 Achievement Citation from the "Automobile Old Timers Association".

This is a wonderfully illustrated Ford-commissioned book that was released in 2002 in advance of the 100th anniversary in 2003. This came from the library of a deceased Detroit area real estate tycoon. The signature of Bill Ford might possibility be a descendent of Henry Ford. I will let you be the judge. This book measures approximately 11" x 10" and it is in excellent condition.

1904 This is a very well-done 1969 re-issue of a very well-known book that was actually published in 1904 celebrating all the different automobiles then being made. This one has an introduction by Ken Purdy who gives a several page history of the cars and the industry that the first book was published in the midst of, then launches into the great drawings of those genuine antiques. Condition of this book is excellent, and the paper jacket shows some ageing and light soiling. This is truly a fine book for the fan of genuine antique cars.

1911 Chalmers Large Ad! Here is a nice full-page ad for this antique car. This measures 9-1/2 " X 12-1/2" and would look great framed in your office or den. This is what automobiles looked like over 80 years ago! This particular ad is from a 1911 FRA magazine. You may have to trim the ad down somewhat to slice off the binding marks or possible damaged edges or corners, (see picture). We will ship this one of 2 ways. You must indicate which way in the "customer notes" box provided when you order. #1. We will fold this in half to fit in a small manila envelope with no stiffiner inside for $1.00. You can use a dry warm iron to flatten it back out for framing. #2. We will ship it flat with a stiffiner inside, stamped "Do Not Bend" on the outside for $2.85.
